Stronger Together

Burgess Hill Sports Council has been set up with the sole aim of supporting and encouraging the sporting and inter-personal development of youth in and around Burgess Hill plus the surrounding villages. 

We are, and will always remain, completely non-political.  Burgess Hill and the surrounding area is growing in population massively in the next decade.

 Our aim is to ensure the existing population, plus all those new to the area have an equal opportunity to learn and participate in their chosen sport(s). 

They will also, with the help of the BHSC learn how, and where they can get involved with any of the numerous sports clubs in our area. 

Now more than ever our youth need to be more active and the clubs in the BHSC are all doing an incredible job supporting this need.

 BHSC brings these various clubs together to knowledge share and learn from each other. Together we can provide the best possible sporting experience for youth in whatever sport(s) they choose, with all clubs learning how to improve the offering and facilities they provide locally. 

 We will be working in partnership with the various authorities in our area, including, but not limited to the councillors and officers of Burgess Hill Town Council, Mid Sussex District Council and West Sussex County Council. 

With their support and influence the BHSC can make a huge difference to the sporting landscape locally in the next few years, and beyond.  The Sports Council is open to all those who share our aims.

 BHSC can bring the sporting community of Burgess Hill together for the benefit of all and provide the next generation the best possible opportunities we can in sport. Together we will.
